Mont blank massif remains to be the deadliest mountain on the earth. It boasts of 15782 ft and is the tallest on the alpine range. Year in year out, climbers have been dying due to rocks slides and steep rocks. It is the mountain with the highest number of fatalities with an average of 100 climbers per year. Since history, it has claimed lives of 6000 people. Thanks to the success of President Theodore Roosevelt who climbed it in 1886, the mountain is very popular.

The second mountain on the list is the Annapurna. It boasts a height of 26,246 ft. Climbers from everywhere are attracted by the Nepal Annapurna which is the tallest peak. Since 1950, 191 people have successfully climbed this mountain. It has seen 60 people die as they try to reach the summit of Annapurna. For mountains with 8000 meters peak, it is considered as the most dangerous.

Another mountain under focus is the K2 which is the seconded highest mountain on the earth. It is located in the border of Pakistan and China with a height of 28251 ft. It is comparatively easier to climb Kilimanjaro than to climb K2. Even when you choose the easiest route, you will face ice pillars that can collapse, steep rocks and complicated glaciers. This mount seems to be biased against female climbers. Among the six female climbers that gave a trial to mount since 2003, five of them died.

There is the Nanga Parbat which has bad name of the man eater. The mount is located in Pakistan and boasts of 26,657ft. It has enormous ridge of ice and rock. It ranks as the number nine is height in the world and has the tallest mountain face. As of 1953, it has claimed lives of 31 climbers.
